On the face of it local honey shouldn't ease grass pollen allergy symptoms because bees do not habitually collect grass pollen although a relatively tiny amount could incidentally be brought back to the hive. Nevertheless, I have spoken to several people who reckon that eating local honey regularly helps desensitize them to pollen in the air. Well, if it works for some it could work for you and there is no harm in trying honey if you suffer from hay fever to see if it helps your symptoms over a period of days.
